Jessica joined Venrock as Chief Financial Officer in April 2024, and leads Venrock’s Finance team, which is responsible for the financial reporting of Venrock’s investment funds as well as the day-to-day management of firm-wide finance and accounting matters. In addition, Jessica is responsible for investor relations and LP reporting, and works closely with Venrock’s legal team on fundraising, operations and regulatory compliance matters.

 

Jessica has over 25 years of professional experience in financial services, and has been working directly in the venture capital industry since 2006. Prior to joining Venrock, Jessica was Chief Operating Officer of venture capital firm Acrew Capital. Prior to Acrew, Jessica held the COO position at SVB Capital and CFO at Hercules Capital (NYSE: HTGC). Jessica began her professional career with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

 

Jessica also holds a B.A. in Human Biology and a M.S. in Sociology from Stanford University. She holds an M.B.A. from UC Berkeley – Haas. She is a CPA (inactive).
